During the European Survey Research Association (ESRA) Conference 2025, held in Utrecht from July 14 to 18, a representative of the Department, Dr. Marek Muszyński, participated in two scientific workshops: Integrating Large Language Models in the Questionnaire Design Process and Survey Response Quality Assessment: Conceptual Approaches and Practical Indicators. He also delivered two presentations: Checking the checks: Developing and validating new types of attention checks for self-completion surveys and Surveys at the “cross-modes”: Leveraging ESS Round 10 natural experiment to compare response behaviours between face-to-face and self-completion modes (co-authored with Prof. Piotr Jabkowski, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań).
The presentation on attention checks is part of a research project funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) entitled Development and Validation of New Types of Attention Checks.
