Members of the Department took an active part in the Congress of Young Psychology Scholars (KAMP), a conference organized by the Student Psychology Research Association of the Jagiellonian University, bringing together psychology students and doctoral researchers from across Poland. The conference was held on December 5–7, 2025, in Murzasichle near Zakopane.
Kinga Małyska delivered a presentation entitled Searching for Meaning in Meaninglessness: Strategies for Topic Extraction in Large Text Data Sets, Based on Research on the Migration Crisis. The presentation focused on results from a study conducted as part of the NCN project “Research Laboratory of Digital Social Sciences” (principal investigator: Prof. Artur Pokropek).
Hubert Plisiecki and Marek Muszyński gave expert lectures entitled respectively: Back in Favor: The History of Quantitative Text Analysis in Psychology (Hubert Plisiecki) and Gotta Catch Them All! Detecting Inattentive Responding in Surveys and Tests (Marek Muszyński).
